Free nature program at North York’s Downsview Park | InsideToronto.com

Downsview Park will host a free nature program Sunday, July 23.

The family-friendly, two hour indoor and outdoor event will begin at the Discovery Centre, 70 Canuck Ave., at 2 p.m.

Explore flowers at the Keele Street and Sheppard Avenue area park through the eyes of a pollinator. Attendees can experiment with colour and discover some of the many roles flowers and plants play in the natural and human world. Colour is so important to nature that there are colours that we can’t even see but provide exclusive access into a world unseen by things like bees and butterflies.

Participants under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The event is not pet friendly.
